Project Work
A key element of our post graduate degree course lies in the importance attached to project work. We believe that students need to be given first hand experience of working on real practical problems that are both challenging & relevant to any future career. This means working on different projects throughout the course, either on their own / within a team. Faculties always supervise their work, giving them help & guidance, but students will also take the lead in coming up with ideas & designs, organizing work loads, choosing appropriate implementations & making sure that project skills are evaluated by the faculty. We presume that our student will develop plenty of hands-on experience with their project works.
Attendance
Candidate must attend minimum 75% in theory & 85% in practical classes to qualify for both internal & University Examination.
Dress Code
Each & every MHM student should follow the dress code of the Institute, as prescribed by the Executive Education Department. In addition, students must carry identity card while at all times.
Discipline
Students must maintain strict discipline within the Institute Campus i.e. in the Hospital Campus where ailing patients are struggling for survival. The Hospital is a highly sensitive & any form of misconduct & indisciplinary attitude is strictly prohibited within Hospital premises. The MHM course is a hospital based highly professional course & any such unfortunate activity shall be considered as a punishable offence & shall be dealt serious & may even end finally in termination of studentship.
Library
Our Institute is equipped with an excellent library where many users can access the library at a time. The library contains a comprehensive collection including medical books, Indian & foreign medical management journals, CDs & daily newspapers of different languages. Access to the library materials is provided through library card & through computerized catalogue. Provision of Internet Facility is available to each student.
Charnock Hospital also has an institutional membership of the British Council Library (BCL), through which the Hospital library gets the advantage of using the resources of must educational document for a comprehensive knowledge.
Through its collections & services, the library tries to serve as the foundation of study & research.
