FACILITIES
ICU - 16 bedded state-of-the-art Intensive Critical Care Unit studded with all the modern intensive care equipments - ventilators, BiPAP, pulse generators, multi-parameter monitors, infusion pumps, echocardiography machine, portable X-ray and USG machines, ABG machine. Under the care of ICU RMO (24-hours on duty), ICU In-charge (24 hours on call) under a group of consultants, supported by highly trained and skilled manpower – nurses, technicians etc.
HDU – 6 bedded High Dependency Unit / Step Down Unit – Having multi-parameter monitors, infusion pumps – works as a step down ward for ICU and Post – Operative patients – attended by a separate HDU RMO, 24 hours a day, with the back up of trained sisters’ team.
NICU – 6 bedded Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit equipped with radiant heat warmers, phototherapy machines, infusion pumps, C-Pap machines and monitors – managed by 24 hours on-duty RMO and trained nurses.
OT – There are 4 Operation Theatres at Charnock equipped with the latest equipments and with Laminar Airflow. The C-Arm at the Ortho & Neuro OT is one of the best in East India.
OPD – Charnock has a very advanced and extensive Out Patients' Department where Super-specialists from all streams are available for consultation. The appointments are being given from the dedicated OPD Reception.
